Actions:
Identified and worked with key Community Economic Development experts and influencers to collaborate as community ambassadors and demonstrate applicability/benefits of Powernoodle to their peers. Developed product video and managed creation of microsite, including SEO focus, and promotional emails.
Results:
Community Economic Development solution was used by Powernoodle as a framework for developing other vertically focussed solutions. Powernoodle has since continued focus on identifying and building relationships with influencers in key market segments – and now offers more than ten vertical solutions.

Chaordix provides organizations with a proprietary website platform to host online communities for crowdsourcing purposes, as well as expertise to help organizations adopt crowdsourcing for business advantage.
Challenge:
Plan, recruit, generate content for, moderate and analyze online communities for client crowdsourcing initiatives. One initiative involved Genius Crowds, a product innovation community focussed on nurturing and developing ideas submitted by community members into products available on store shelves. Genius Crowds, a start-up, was getting ready to launch and had no brand awareness or community members.
Actions:
Developed a recruitment strategy to build membership in the online community. Communication hubs included Facebook Fan Page, Twitter and Tumblr. Leverage blogger outreach, community member key influencer ambassador program, Facebook ads, Google AdWord, video, SEO, SEM and online conversation monitoring to recruit new members.
Results:
Achieved target 500+ community members in three months. More importantly, community members generated over ten “Product Contenders” – product ideas submitted and voted by the community deemed, by Genius Crowds expert judges, to have potential to make it to store shelves.
